Croydon Lantern Workshop

Croydon Council - 2026 - Urban Room

In Situ designed and delivered a day of workshops at Croydon Council’s Urban Room, engaging the public around discussions for the future development of the nearby Welllesley Road and how this could become a public and pedestrian centred streetscape. This would was delivered through the making of lantern cubes with ideas drawn, stencilled and collaged onto tissue paper to site on an LED backed site model base. This workshop was a prototype for a future larger scale project envisaged for the council.
